TOPKU?(not)TOP KU! (but)TOP CUE!

TOPKU:ID灵光闪烁在那个沉闷的夏日
那天收拾高中时的旧书，不经意翻出本高二的笔记，记录着摘抄的好诗妙词，还有些个人写的歌词，想想自己当年的闲情雅兴，不觉愧然。然而更让我心情黯然的还是笔记本首页触目惊心的九个大大的英文字母“Topku Plan”，下面是两句注释：
TO PKU——
If not me , who ?
If not there ,where?
这也就是我使用topku作为ID的由来；当时激情飞扬，意气风发，满脑子是关于如何考上那个著名大学，以至上网第一次申请Email想要用的ID就只有这个曾经是一个少年梦想计划的代号，到了后来，尽管志向未成，不知是出于习惯亦或是对那个大学念念不忘，我甚至连英文名字也叫作Topku Chanz，这个古怪的名字连Native Speaker也莫名其妙，他们根本不知道怎么读:(
关于topku 的读法，很多朋友有很酷的发音，有次有位网友甚至建议我“如果改成topcool，那就更cool了”——呵呵，cool是cool，难免不是kitsch了；我宁愿读成top cue:)
在网络这个虚拟+虚伪的极度自由空间里， ID虽然不同真正名字来得实在，但毕竟是代表了一个活生生的人的另一种存在，如果有心的话，ID也绝对可以创造出某种可以预见的奇迹，也许这是我做人态度的一种延伸，不知算不算是天生强烈的品牌意识？
Joi Ito似乎有先见的智慧：I'm not Joi Ito, that's just my name。
对于ID，我们是否也应该抱如此的态度，创造网络真实的别样文化(Cyber Culture of virtual reality)？
